HOW TO PREVENT & SECURE YOUR BLOG FROM HACKERS
Blogging is never easy, many bloggers today that do not understand the concept of blogging fall victims for either their blog has been hacked or manipulated just about some few weeks ago i came across a guy whose blog was hacked it a pity that he wasn't able to recover the blog even Google team in charge of blogger won't answer you cause the moment you change your blog domain to a custom domain it your responsibility to look out for your blog most especially all corner cause a blog can be manipulated through the domain directory and google don't have access to that despite google offer you with a CMS to create stunning website from that dosen't mean they can recover your blog back for you once it been hacked, Many webmasters has laid several complains of there blog been hacked by internet hackers and manipulator but there seems not to reply from any of the Blogger help desk team which is bad at least that the major factor Google need to be concentrated on. So today i will give little and not much tips on how to secure your blog against hackers and internet manipulators join me as we learn something new
Wait a minute:
CREATE A STRONG PASSWORD
Yes !!! creating a strong password is the best way to keep your blog very safe and sound it has to be very strong first the hackers try to guess your password before breaking in and once they guess your password to be cheap for example: micheal01 , newbieblogger1, They aren't fools they know that can happen and that also give them the power to guess and sometimes hackers use script to adopt the last password you entered on your Gmail account so to better prevent them from penetrating then you should try make the password very secured by making it look more confusing like this, Example: Jame123A 1x1!!! i hope you can see from the example i made that there is a space after 123A before 1x1 the secret behind hacking is if you put space between your password it will be very difficult for hackers to penetrate because when the script hackers used to break in reaches the space between your password it stops and say "cracking fails" if you use symbols like this !!!,$,@,( the script will automatically translate does symbols to dotted line ..., which will not allow the hacker to gain success to your blog, so if you are creating a password for your blog then make sure you are adding symbols or space between to make it secure against hackers and internet manipulators
KEEP YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO YOURSELF NEVER DISCLOSE IT TO ANYONE
Another reason why you should keep your email address secured and never disclose it to anyone is hackers have their ways of getting through into your blog first is they will make a similar email address like yours with gmail account which they use premium tools to do that when created they will try using your real gmail account to login blogger which they will get an error while trying to do that after the error they will click forget password at that point they will implement a script at the console part on inspect element of that page the script will allow google accept that similar email address that they have created and click send new password link to the similar email they have created they will receive the new link to create new password and at this point it a big problem for you as they will create a new password and kick you out so to bloggers who give there main admin email address to advertisers or business person it is not good please create a different means of getting in touch with your advertisers also there are many other ways hackers can penetrate your blog using just your email address
USE GOOGLE 2 STEP VERIFICATION
If you don't know what is google 2 steps verification then you are probably missing ways of getting secured from hackers, Google 2 step verification is a process where anyone who tries to login to your gmail account from another device and location will be prompted to enter some codes that will be sent to the phone you used to activate your 2 steps verification at this point it will be very frustrating for the hackers as there are no ways they can bypass it cause you are the one holding the phone so they are powerless that's the power of 2 step verification so it helps keep the bad guy out of your blog circle so if you haven't done that don't waste time now
DON'T GIVE AN ANONYMOUS PERSON AN ADMIN RIGHT
It very dangerous when you meet people online due to the fact that you want to ask them for help you give them right over your blog it very dangerous as you will be kicked out from your blog without prior warning from anyone or gmail and just like as i have said earlier complaining to google that your blog was hacked is a waste of time as many has done that for more than 4-5 month and google teams didn't even spit a speak it a pity to see your hard work gone just like that so the better way to prevent been a victim is secure yourself and your blog
KNOW THE KINDS OF FREE TEMPLATES YOU USE FOR YOUR BLOG
Every newbie blog use free template for a start but not that using free template for your blog that is a problem but the major problem is understanding the kinds of template you are using If you use template that has javascript installed that can't make you remove the creditlink of the blog then know that somehow your blog is astatke cause there are javascript installed on a template that automatically adopt all your blog information including your logins there are chances that your blog will be hacked if you remove the credit link of the template

Try remove any vital information of your blog from WHOIS Directly from your domain website client area cause on whois.net your IP address is included on the whois which hackers can use to tweak your System and in the hacker's world it is called RDP it a process where if hackers tweak your system your computer will automatically shut down for some hours or minute it won't on while it shut down from your own side the hackers already from there side has penetrate your system to check what they want after they are done they will release your system to on at this point you might not notice anything or you may feel that it part of your laptop crashing hmm that a lie your computer as been tampered with

ReplyDeleteSome time last year, i tried activating the 2 step verification but was told i couldn't use my number. Since i wasn't in the mood to read their error message, i just closed the tab. Anyway, i'll give it a second try. Thanks for the eye opening.
