Hello readers, i am richard Odds and today i am going to be talking about Google panda algorithm and Google Penguin Algorithm, Why i am writing about this google algorithm is due to the fact that many bloggers don't really know about google algorithm and how it works, In one word google works in different ways and those ways are calculated with their algorithm, On February 2011 google release panda which is a change to it search engine ranking, The Panda was released to demote content that are quite spammy or that are copyright giving reward and high ranking to Original and Rich content sites, The panda algorithm was to lower copyright infringers and scrappers getting better ranking than the Original creator of a content, The google panda is not about links, Having https for your site or Mobile friendliness of your site rather the panda reward content quality.
WHO IS BEHIND GOOGLE PANDA ALGORITHM
Navneet Panda that the name of the Engineer who made it possible for google to roll out the algorithm, google panda was internally named after it founder & engineer Navneet panda who is basically an SEO expert and a very important person in the world of SEO, from the indication google panda is a person lol and a show stopper for publishers who find it very hard to write content on there own instead they prefer to steal other people's content, A little you must want to know about this Navneet is that he hails from india studied at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur in the Department of Mathematics and earned a MSc in Mathematics and Computing Integrated 5-year course he then went on to the University of California Santa Barbara, where he earned a Phd in Computer Science. His advisor was Edward Y. Chang.
PANDA RANKING ALGORITHM
After the release of Google Panda many webmasters where freak out over the facts that there site quality is downgraded but it was later release from the Panda Algo Guide,
What most people are seeing are sites that have content that is overwhelmingly poor quality, so it can seem that an entire site is affected. But if a site does have quality content on a page, those pages can continue to rank.A Google spokesperson confirmed this as well.The Panda algorithm may continue to show such a site for more specific and highly-relevant queries, but its visibility will be reduced for queries where the site owner's benefit is disproportionate to the user's benefit.The algo guild throw out a little light to help webmasters and SEO experts understand that a site can still be ranked even while affected by panda, While the algorithm was release there are some pages that was positively impacted by panda even while the pages were positive
PANDA ALGORITHM VS DUPLICATE CONTENT
Many webmaster call back the thought of been hitted by panda because of "Duplicate content" Duplicate content can yes affect your SEO, but from the panda update, panda is focus on ranking quality content so if you are been hit by panda leave it google is good at sorting it out if not then try fix it up with a redirects or Canonicals

It about time to understand what is google penguin and how it works, Just while webmasters programmers are getting to understand Google panda here comes GOOGLE Penguin update which calculate where to place or rank a website, Google penguin algorithm works almost the same way as google panda but differently, The penguin algorithm which was release by Google on April 24 2012 to decrease the search engine ranking of website that violate google webmaster Guidelines, those that use Black hat SEO to artificially increase their site ranking on google, Which we as a webmasters and publisher knows that backlinks has been an important part in SEO {} Just as panda was designed to catch content stealers that another way google penguin is design to catch those that buy backlinks to boost their ranking on search engine penalise them and also make a comfortable ranking for sites that contain Quality content
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF PENGUIN?
The penguin algorithm is designed to penalise any sites at anytime when it violate the google guidelines, If you stop receiving hits from google search engine or you have been noticing decrease of visitors from google search engine then try to check your Google Analytics, or Search console cause you could have been hit by Penguin,
HOW TO MONITOR AND STAY PENGUIN FREE
If you think you have been hit by penguin over external links to your site the best way to solve your problem is to contact the website linking to your site and ask either the administrator or moderator to remove the link Quick, The other option to remove spamming links from your site is to use GOOGLE DISAVOW TOOL it simply allows you to tell google to remove a list of links you don't want, And once it done note that the link will be of no benefit again So in conclusion the best way to stay penguin free is to keep to one thing, create Quality content Rich content that will get potential visitors to link back to your site which will help you build Quality link and juice back to your site
